Chicago Northside Makerfaire

May 06, 2014

Last weekend we sponsored and exhibited at the Chicago Northside Makerfaire.  The show was a lot of fun, and we met a lot of great people!  We enjoyed spreading the word about Maker Electronics and products like the Raspberry Pi.

Our friends at Cyntech were kind enough to bring a Snap Circuits Robot as a giveaway.  We had 68 entrants, and we thought we would have a little fun picking a winner.  So we decided to number all the entrants and run a random number generator in Python on a Raspbery Pi.

Here are the results and our methodology:

Number 51 (Jennifer) is the winner!

Thanks again for everyone that stopped by!  As a token of our appreciation, we will keep the 10% off discount code "MAKERFAIRE" active on our site through May 11.
