Our new location

Some of our customers have wondered...why is my package coming from Florida?  

Well, the answer is simple...my business partner Jim wanted to move to a warmer climate, and figured why not!  Rather than change the name, we have kept Chicago Electronic Distributors.  We are also still an Illinois corporation.

How does this affect you?  Well, really not much at all!  Chicago mail is notoriously slow, and we have noticed that 1st class packages from Florida arrive in their destinations faster than those shipped from Chicago, even if the package is going to Illinois!  

It also goes without saying that local pickup in Chicago is unfortunately not an option.

The move has also given us a bigger warehouse with room to grow, and other than me having to learn the nuances of Florida sales tax law, everything has gone smoothly.
