Little clicky switches are standard input "buttons" on electronic projects. These are just like our Colorful Round Tactile Button Switch Assortment, but already assembled onto a PCB - they even have a pull-up resistor installed! The pins are normally open (disconnected) and when the button is pressed they are momentarily closed.
Each button comes with a candy-colored round cap snapped on. You get one of each color-- blue, white, yellow, red, and black.
Best of all, each button board comes with a JST-PH 2mm connector and a matching JST PH 3-Pin to Male Header Cables - 200mm, so wiring up is a cinch. Simply plug the cable in, then use the black wire to connect to your microcontroller/microcomputer ground, white wire to the input signal pin and the red wire to your power pin (3V or 5V) if you want to have the pull-up resistor activated.
If you want to connect to something with alligator clips use our STEMMA to Gator cable. To connect to something with a STEMMA 3-pin connector already, use this cable.
Works great with any device that wants a switch - Arduino, CircuitPython, Raspberry Pi, DIY builds...etc!
