Happy New Year's 2015 from Chicago Electronic Distributors

January 01, 2015

To our loyal customers and followers:

Thank you for a fantastic 2014.  We have met some fantastic people in the last year, and we have enjoyed all of the effort we put into this business.  We are proud to be a part of the growing Maker movement.  We supported 3 MakerFaires in the last year, and we hope to double our efforts next year.

Business has been quite busy so we have not had a lot of time for blogging.  Rest assured, it Is a goal of ours to blog more in the New Year.  Hopefully I can keep that promise!

Lastly, we also plan to do more videos next year.  We enjoy sharing our projects.  We even have a video with over 25,000 YouTube views.

With that, I will leave you with a video I took of a 9 meter (30 foot) NeoPixel Strip with 240 LED's controlled by an Adafruit Pro Trinket 5V and powered by a beefy 10 amp power supply.  To precisely control the timing of the lights, we used an Adafruit Real Time Clock.
