This is the Raspberry Pi 4 Model B with 8 GB of RAM. The Pi 4 is also available with 1GB, 2GB or 4GB of RAM. Learn more about all of our Pi 4 offerings at our main Raspberry Pi 4 collection!
Required Accessories
Power
- Since the Pi 4B uses USB-C, we recommend one of the official 15W USB-C power supplies
- Alternatively, if your USB peripherals use less than 500 milliamps, you can use our micro USB to USB-C adapter if you have a 2.5A power supply from a previous Pi.
microSD card
- You will need the latest version of Raspberry Pi Imager. Download it here.
Display
- The Pi 4 has dual microHDMI connectors. If you'd like to connect to an HDMI monitor, you will need microHDMI to HDMI cables
- You can also use the A/V port
- Or you can use the DSI output to the official 7" touchscreen display
Product Information
This product’s key features include a high-performance 64-bit quad-core processor, dual-display support at resolutions up to 4K via a pair of micro-HDMI ports, hardware video decode at up to 4Kp60, dual-band 2.4/5.0 GHz wireless LAN, Bluetooth 5.0, Gigabit Ethernet, USB 3.0, and PoE capability (via a separate PoE HAT add-on).
The dual-band wireless LAN and Bluetooth have modular compliance certification, allowing the board to be designed into end products with significantly reduced compliance testing, improving both cost and time to market.
